I will be leading Mya's troop. I am meeting with April Penn today to fill out papers for trianing a talk about my duties.

It will be fun. I was a cub scout leader for Derek's cubscout troup. You get to help them progress through the program. Watch them grow and change. They were always excited to get the next badge. It seemed to keep them interested. Have fun with it, don't stress. The kids just want to have something to do. I'm glad you're doing it. Derek and Cedric were really close to their dad because he was always involved in every activity. They really appreciate it now that he's gone.
Thanks for the words encourage, I do look forward to the first meeting. Mya has been telling every one she sees that I am taking over the troop.
I hope she and the other girl have fun too but mosty me.
